L(Laura Jury) (Laura Jay) is an actor with additional experience in writing and directing from South Devon in southwest England. Laura specialises in theatre & film acting, with the additional skills of burlesque, historical re-enactment, and directing. She has been performing in theatre & film since 1996, and directing since 2000. She has run her own inclusive theatre production company since 2005.

Laura is energetic, friendly and ambitious, while at the same time, strongly valuing teamwork and kindness  to create the very best performance possible. She is always delighted to learn new skills. 

​Trained to Masters degree (University of Exeter) , Founder  and company director of The South Devon Players Theatre & Film Company
Laura is also one of four British theatre directors on the national Equity trade union Director's Committee, and a trustee of Brixham Theatre. 

Laura is diagnosed with autism, anxiety and PTSD.
